Responding to the escarpment of Gariwerd (Grampians), AXIS by artist Luke George [Naarm/Melbourne] works with a mass of coloured rope and tension to draw lines across the earth and sky. Anchored to one of the site’s most beautiful trees and with lighting by Phaenomenon [Naarm/Melbourne], it will transform each night into a glowing, pulsing architecture of colour, texture and movement.
