Pitch™ Reschedule Statement
Despite tirelessly working through a COVIDSafe plan with the Department of Health, we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone Pitch Black to October 23rd, 2021.
This decision to postpone did not come lightly. After reviewing the ever evolving health and safety restrictions and with the new requirements that have been enforced onto us as a result of the recent outbreak in Melbourne, this would mean that the production quality of the event would unfortunately be compromised considerably. We want to deliver a high quality event and with these restrictions in place, we did not feel it was a product true to the traditional Pitch Music & Arts standard, as well as artists’ and attendees’ expectations.
After carefully fulfilling all immigration/visa requirements and overcoming the shortage of flight availabilities, we sympathise with our artists that are currently in hotel quarantine or have recently completed this for their performance at Pitch Black.
Satellite shows will be announced shortly in support of selected artists given the current climate.
Subsequently, we are working with current artists on the lineup and others to secure a programme equally as exciting for the new October date, ahead of Pitch Music & Arts returning to the Grampians in March 2022.
